SI Registration Checks

Checks Performed by the SI Registration Team

Upon submission of an SI for registration, the SI Registration Team conducts certain checks to ensure that instruments are complete and include the relevant information.  These checks are not the same as validation of an SI in which an electronic diagnostic evaluation of the SI document is performed to check the document structure and that the template styles have been used correctly.  Further information about Validation can be found in the Validation Toolbox.

Please note: the SI Registration Team does not check that an SI is correctly drafted, which is the responsibility of the drafting Department, but will bring to the Department’s attention any anomalies noted during the registration process.

SI Registration checks consist of a combination of automated and manual checks.
