Publishing Fees for Statutory Rules & Associated Documents

The pricing structure for Statutory Rules and associated documents is dependent on whether the documents have been drafted using approved templates (where available) and the templated document has passed validation.

The standard publishing fees for Statutory Rules and associated documents are shown below. Local arrangements may be in place that vary from the prices shown. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied where applicable.

Standard Publishing Charges

Charges for Statutory Rules

  • £320.00 per printed Statutory Rule where the instrument is drafted using the SI Template and passes validation.  The charge includes one complimentary copy of the printed instrument – additional print copies are charged at the Additional Copy rate.
  • £355.00 per printed Statutory Rule where the instrument has only low impact validation errors which the Publisher is requested to correct.  High impact errors must be fixed by the department.  The charge includes one complimentary copy of the printed instrument – additional print copies are charged at the Additional Copy rate.
  • £95.00 per non-print Statutory Rule.

Charges for Associated Documents to Statutory Rules

  • £155.00 per Explanatory Memorandum associated with a print Statutory Rule.
  • £155.00 per Explanatory Memorandum associated with a non-print Statutory Rule.
  • £60.00 per Impact Assessment.

Charges for Correction Slips

  • £22.00 per Correction Slip.

 

Optional Charges

Charges for Non-Templated Printed Statutory Rules

  • £355.00 per Statutory Rule where the instrument is not drafted using the SI Template plus per page typesetting fee of £16.75 per page.  One set of page proofs are included, further page proofs are charged at £13.25 per page.  The charge includes one complimentary copy of the printed instrument – additional print copies are charged at the Additional Copy rate.
